A shared board for chasing overdue invoices

See every overdue account, who owns it and where it's got to.

  • Overdue accounts on one shared Trove board
  • Cards that move when invoices are paid
  • Customise the columns and assign owners

How the Kanban board works in Trove

  1. 1

    One board to track issues

Trove puts your overdue accounts on one shared board, so the whole team sees which accounts need attention. The board reads your accounting system, so when an invoice is paid the card moves on its own, with nothing to update by hand.

  2. 2

Customisable columns to fit your setup

Set up the Trove board with the stages your team actually uses, such as in discussion, disputed, awaiting payment or promised to pay, and drag accounts between them as the conversation moves on.

Anyone can glance at the board and see where each account has got to.

  3. 3

    An owner on every account

Give each account an owner in Trove, so everyone knows who's responsible for chasing it. Notes stay with the account, so whoever picks it up next sees what's already been said.

Kanban board: common questions

Everything you need to know

Does Trove have a Kanban board for credit control?

Yes. Trove's Kanban board is included on the Integrated plan. It shows your overdue accounts on a shared board, with your own columns and an owner on each account.

Can I assign overdue invoices to people on my team?

Yes. Each account on the board has an owner, so everyone knows who is responsible for chasing it, and notes stay with the account.

Do I have to add invoices to the board by hand?

No. The board reads your accounting system, so overdue accounts appear on their own and cards move when invoices are paid.

Can I set up my own columns?

Yes. You can create columns for the stages your team uses, such as in discussion, awaiting payment or promised to pay, and drag accounts between them.

How is this different from using Jira, Trello or a spreadsheet?

A general board or spreadsheet doesn't know when an invoice is paid, so someone has to keep it up to date. Trove's board is connected to your accounting system, so it always shows what's really outstanding.
