Facts checked October 2026.
If you’re comparing Chaser vs Satago, you’re probably trying to get late invoices paid without hiring someone to chase them. Both tools will send the reminders. The difference is what else you’re paying for.
Chaser puts everything into collections and prices by your turnover. Satago adds credit reports and invoice finance, and keeps the subscription small. Pick the one that matches the job you need done.
Chaser vs Satago target customers
Chaser
Chaser is built for UK businesses with a finance team and a lot of invoices going out. Its plans scale with annual revenue, from under £4 million up to large businesses, and it connects to bigger systems such as NetSuite, Business Central and SAP as well as Xero, QuickBooks Online and Sage (integrations listed by ERP Research).
Satago
Satago is aimed at small and medium-sized businesses that want one login for chasing, checking customers and borrowing against invoices. It connects to Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, KashFlow and FreeAgent (Satago for Business). Sage 50 users can get it inside Sage, and some Sage 50 subscriptions include it (Satago’s Sage 50 pricing).
Chaser vs Satago feature comparison
Chaser
Chaser goes deep on chasing:
- Multi-channel reminders. Email, SMS, letters and automated calls.
- Payment portal. Customers see what they owe and pay online.
- Credit risk monitoring. Payer scoring and risk alerts on your existing customers.
- Chaser Care. A done-for-you service where an AR specialist runs your follow-ups, priced separately.
Satago
Satago spreads across three jobs:
- Credit control. Automated reminders, statements and thank-you emails, with custom templates and schedules.
- Risk insights. Live credit scores, risk bands, suggested credit limits and alerts when a customer’s credit changes.
- Credit reports. Full reports on UK and Irish businesses, from 25 a month on Basic to unlimited (fair use) on Platinum.
- Invoice finance. Advances of up to 90% of an invoice, on one invoice or your whole ledger.
In short, Chaser does more for the chasing itself. Satago does less chasing but tells you who’s risky and can lend against what they owe.

The gap is big. Chaser’s cheapest plan costs more than Satago’s most expensive one, and Chaser’s price rises as your turnover does, whether or not you send more reminders. However, Chaser is designed for bigger teams and may be justified. As an example, Satago’s plans do not mention multi-entity which is supported on Chaser’s beefier plans.
For the full breakdown of each, see our Chaser pricing page and Satago pricing and alternatives.
